College of Business
Master's of Business Administration (M.B.A.)
An MBA can open many opportunities for you. The College of Business has one of the top MBA programs available online today (Selling Power Magazine, 2003 and GetEducated.com, 2004, 2006, and 2008). Selling Power editors Ranked WT on their list of the 50 best and most comprehensive online MBA programs and on their list of the Top 10 most affordable online MBA degrees. GetEducated.com ranked the WT MBA program as a top 25 best buy (3rd out of 91 comprehensive programs for 2008) for regionally accredited programs.
College of Education and Social Sciences
Instructional Design and Technology (M.Ed.)
Even in the worst economy, the best people drop into satisfying and well-paying jobs if they have the right set of skills and the right degree. Some of the skills most in demand today are Web Site Design, Business Productivity Software like Microsoft Office, and Training Materials Design. All these skills and more can be learned in the WTAMU Instructional Design and Technology program. Come for a course or two or stay for a whole Masters degree! If you are teacher, you can even gain certification as a school technology specialist. With creative and entertaining projects in graphics, animation, and movie-making, you will never be bored while preparing for your success.
Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis on Reading (M.Ed.)
The graduate reading program has been designed to include cutting-edge theory and practice, authentic evaluation, organization, and supervision of all-level reading programs. The program can be completed within 2 years and can lead to certification as a Texas Reading Specialist. We are excited that we can now make this program available to a wider audience in an online format.

Educational Leadership (Administration M.Ed.)
We are now able to offer our exceptional master's program in Educational Leadership in an online format leading to a degree in Administration M.Ed.. The program is part of needed courses for certification to work as a school administrator (vice principal, principal). One course (teacher evaluation) needed for the certification is not online at present. It can be taken at WTAMU or at your nearest state education service center. This is a long standing and high quality program that we are now able to offer online. It can truly prepare you for leadership in an educational setting.
This Program is Available Online in Some Circumstances
Teaching (M.A.T.)
If you desire to obtain a Texas teacher certification and extend your knowledge this program may be just what you have been looking for. You can take all the courses for teacher certification online (click link to learn about PACE certification) and then count 12 of those hours toward the Masters of Arts in Teaching. You will add to the certification courses to the graduate education core classes (12 Hours) available online. You also take courses (12 Hours) in your specialization. Depending on your specialization it is possible that all the needed courses are available online. In the end you have your Texas Teacher Certification and a Master's degree.
