Top Five Masters in Management Online Degrees
The Masters in Management degree has been offered up in many universities as an alternative to the MBA, although it differs from the MBA in several respects. The MBA provides training for business administration, focusing on the financial and tactical underpinnings of business operations. Several of the financial areas of focus for the MBA are designed for students who want to work in the financial sector as traders, brokers or analysts and have little interest in management. The Masters in Management provides training in leadership and in the skills required for administrative oversight. Classes in management theory, personnel management and at some universities, is the more academic of the two degrees. Often it is designated as the graduate degree of choice for students who have no previous business experience, unlike the MBA which in many schools has an admissions prerequisite of at least a couple of years’ business experience.
